Grace is a movement artist and choreographer driven by the deep human impulse to connect through physical expression. Her work is rooted in a search for honesty, vulnerability, and the innate stories and visceral emotions that the body holds. She approaches dance as a vehicle for empathy, emotional complexity, and transformation whether on stage, on film, or in the studio.
VEIN is an original contemporary work investigating the places where the body and spirit are most exposed. Centered on themes of depression, connection, and compassion, the piece follows individuals as they attempt to bear one another's burdens. Through moments of support, struggle, and release, VEIN asks how much of another person's pain we can truly carry, and what remains when the weight becomes our own.
The residency at Kilgore College takes the original film "VEIN" and evolves into a live stage performance portrayed through sixteen immersive performers.
"Misunderstood" is a creative dance film developed by Grace the Trainees that explores the inner world of an individual struggling to communicate their thoughts and emotions. Through movement and visual storytelling, the film reveals the disconnect between internal experience and outward expression, highlighting the frustration, isolation, and longing for understanding that often accompany being unheard.
"Summer," performed by Grace the Company, is a commercial contemporary piece that captures the fleeting magic of a summer romance. The work reflects the bittersweet beauty of a love that burns brightly but isn’t meant to last. The warmth of connection, the ache of goodbye, and the memories that linger like the last golden light of summer.
"Saving Grace" premiered at Kilgore College’s Choreographic Student Showcase during Grace's time as a student. This solo marked her first foray into professional choreographic work, a raw and personal exploration of faith, conflict, and redemption.
Driven by vulnerable, athletic movement, "Saving Grace" reveals the tension between human desire and divine forgiveness. Through bold physicality and emotional honesty, the piece navigates the weight of sin, the pull of passion, and the transformative power of grace.
"Promised Land" is a creative dance film that follows a woman as she chooses to surrender worldly desires and step fully into God's calling for her life. Filled with joy, freedom, and the support of a loving community, the film celebrates the beauty of trusting in a purpose greater than oneself.
Inspired by choreographer Grace Reagan's time touring internationally with The Thorn, Promised Land reflects a portion of her personal testimony and the profound joy she experienced during that season. Through movement and storytelling, the film captures the peace, fulfillment, and sense of belonging that can be found when walking in faith and embracing God's plan.
